HELLO, and Welcome to Happy Jack's American Motorcycle

My name is Jack Floyd. I am the owner/ operator of Happy Jack's. I started tinkering at an early age and was constantly getting in trouble for tearing things apart.

I turned 21 and decided to take my tinkering to the next level by attending Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. The school helped me gain entry level skills and in 1994 I started working for a local dealership and my career had begun.

In 2000 I moved to the Big Island Hawaii and worked at a dealership until 2004. While working on the island, I was able to attend many of the classes that Harley Davidson offered at Harley Davidson University and achieved the top rank of Level 5 "Master of Service Technology".

This dealership had very relaxed rules which enabled me to explore my talents in the aftermarket world. I was able to build full custom motorcycles using parts "other" than H-D while still keeping up to date on H-D technology.

Upon my return to Indiana in 2004 I decided to open Happy Jack's. Operating Happy Jack's for the past 11 years has been a dream come true. I've been able to provide customers with a one on one attention and have come to realize "it's not customer service unless you are serving the customer". I'm also very proud that my business is able to provide sponsorship for many fund raisers, poker runs, and benefits in our community. Although I am and will remain a small shop, I can produce Big results when it comes to customer satisfaction, confidence, and appreciation!
